Reality star Noluvuyo Bubbly Sodela found herself hospitalized after experiencing a mental breakdown. I lost my mind for a good three days and had to get medical attention,

"I got a mental breakdown. "I cried, screamed and couldn't breathe for three days," she says.

A friend helped get her medical attention after noticing her distress.

"I managed to call a friend for help she picked me up by the petrol station and took me to the police station and we went to hospital,' Bubbly adds.

Bubbly was treated at the psychiatric hospital over a weekend. "I was given medication to treat symptoms like unusual thinking and depression, as well as drugs to calm me since I wasn't eating," she explains.

While her beauty business was thriving and she managed her depression, undisclosed triggering events took their toll – including the grief of losing her partner to COVID-19 in the UK without a final goodbye due to travel restrictions.

"He was taking treatment, and unfortunately couldn't make it. He died while in the UK and it broke my heart because I couldn't even say my last goodbyes due to the travel restrictions.'

"I don't think I fully recovered mentally after that loss," she admits. The hospitalization taught her to pace herself and not be too hard on herself.

Filming the reunion of "This Body Works For Me" season two also brought emotional strain, with "fights and unnecessary drama," draining her confidence at times. "It made me question whether it was worth it all.

Yet Bubbly remains focused on healing through her wellness services, bringing back clients' confidence. She keeps pursuing her spiritual calling at her own pace through expansion of her beauty business.
