Family of Four Killed in New Year's Eve Robbery in Port Shepstone
Port Shepstone – A family of four has been tragically killed in a house robbery in Dweshula, Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, on New Year's Eve.
According to police reports, suspected robbers broke into the family's home and opened fire on the occupants. Police spokesperson Paul Magwaza confirmed that officers are currently investigating the active crime scene.
Magwaza detailed the events, stating, "Three of the men were carrying firearms and the other one was carrying a bush knife. The suspects started demanding money, and when they were told that there was no money, they began firing shots."
The attackers initially targeted a separate part of the house before turning their attention to the main residence.
