Johannesburg – Beloved South African comedian and actress Celeste Ntuli has revealed she was involved in a harrowing car accident on her way to a show in Secunda, Mpumalanga. The 46-year-old shared the terrifying experience on social media, describing it as a "proper near-death experience."
In a heartfelt video message to her fans, Celeste opened up about the incident, which occurred on September 26th. She said she was travelling to Secunda for a performance when the accident happened.
“This is gonna be one of the first weird… I don’t know what to call it, but I’ll be talking a lot on social media. Then before last Friday according to a car accident and for those who were waiting for me in Secunda, that’s why I couldn’t make it,” she said.
Celeste credited the car she was travelling in with saving her life. “It was a proper near-death experience. The car, they’re still sorting it out and of course there are many issues because it’s a sponsored car, but my near-death experience taught me something and thank God for the brand-new car, it saved my life,” she said.
Ntuli, who hails from Empangeni in KZN, said she was still shaken but thankful to be alive. While she did not reveal full details of how the crash happened, she expressed deep gratitude for escaping without serious injuries.
