At the 17th Annual South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas), she triumphantly secured the Best Supporting Actress in a Telenovela award for her exceptional portrayal of MaNgema in Redemption.
In an emotional interview, Malinga expressed her gratitude, attributing her success to her unwavering faith in God and the unwavering support of the cast and crew of Redemption.
