A Grade 11 student at Stutterheim High School has made South Africans proud
– Konwaba Putsu worked alongside professors at Rhodes University to probe a theory on cancer research
– His theory was presented overseas and is being studied
South Africa's young minds are doing great things. Konwaba Putsu, a Grade 11 student at Stutterheim High School in the Eastern Cape, has proved to be an exceptional mind in the medical field. On 30 July, the high school learner took to Facebook to gush about Putsu's success in compiling a theory on cancer research.
"Konwaba Putsu (Gr 11) has collaborated with professors at Rhodes University to investigate a theory on cancer research. His theory has been presented abroad and studies are currently underway. We are exceptionally proud of his independent drive and "never-say-die" attitude," the post read.
