Cape Town – Black Brain Pictures founder Mandla Ngcongwane, more affectionately known as Mandla N, has announced his engagement to Miss Universe SA 2025, Melissa Nayimuli. The pair, who have been openly dating since 2023 and collaborating on various projects, are considered one of South Africa’s most admired couples.
Mandla N, the man who keeps viewers glued to their seats with his captivating TV shows, has enjoyed a varied and successful career in the entertainment industry. He is the creative force behind popular South African shows such as ‘DiepCity’, ‘Lockdown’, ‘The Black Door’, and the film ‘Boxing Day’. His initial rise to fame came through acting, notably for his roles in the SABC 1 sitcom ‘City Ses’la’ and its spin-off, ‘Ses’Top La’.
Now, he has found a lifetime companion in beauty queen Melissa Nayimuli. The engagement follows a period of public dating and professional collaboration.
