In the run-up to Women’s Month in South Africa, Jessica Nkosi issued a strong statement to any man who believes that they can get away with hitting a woman… and the actress did not mince her words
Jessica took to the timeline this week to open up about what we can only assume is an abuse story which she came across in her network of friends and let’s just say she was livid. The outspoken actress has never hesitated to voice her opinion on abuse and she did so again this week on social media.
While we had no clue about who, or to what, she was specifically referring, Jessica condemned abusive men and was absolutely incensed when she wrote:
“Any man that hits a woman belongs in the pits of HELL!!! How dare you say you love her but hurt her, these a**holes hit their wives, girlfriends, the mother of their kids!! You declare your love but harm her!!! The hell”
Her comments were immediately filled with inquiries from curious fans who wanted to know what had sparked such an angry outburst.

Her outburst also attracted some unsavoury comments from men who felt she should have balanced her commentary by also calling out abusive women (missing the point of her complaint in the process) and when one of her followers tried to tell Jessica about how she should have conducted herself, the actress snapped back:
Jessica resumed normal social media services immediately after sharing these tweets but that hasn’t stopped people from wondering what could have caused her to react so passionately in the first place.
