The China Africa Economic and Trade Expo will take place from November 28 to 30, 2024, at the Abuja Trade & Convention Center, Nigeria. The theme for this year’s event is “China and Africa Joining Hands for a Better Future,” showcasing activities focused on investment, trade, infrastructure, healthcare, and engineering machinery.

Opening Ceremony & China-Africa Infrastructure Cooperation Forum (Nigeria)

Introduction: This forum will delve into opportunities and challenges in China-Africa infrastructure cooperation. There will be in-depth discussions on critical topics such as infrastructure connectivity, innovative investment and financing modes, green development, and business transformation. The aim is to foster exchanges and cooperation among stakeholders and promote the signing of key projects.

China-Africa Business & Healthcare Matchmaking Conference (Nigeria)

Introduction: This conference will introduce leading enterprises from Hunan and provide insights into the investment climate in African countries. Representatives from African chambers of commerce and investment promotion agencies will discuss sectors such as healthcare, new energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure development, facilitating “one-on-one” meetings between Hunan enterprises and African business associations.

CAETE Exhibition in Nigeria & China Engineering Technology Exhibition
Local time: November 28 – 30, 2024
Venue: Abuja Trade & Convention Center, Nigeria
Scale: 3,055 m², featuring approximately 100 companies.
Introduction: The exhibition will cover seven areas: new energy, construction materials, machinery, power transmission and distribution, home appliances, manufacturing, and general infrastructure.
With strong support from both China and Africa, the China Africa Economic and Trade Expo has been successfully held for three sessions, creating a vital platform for local economic cooperation. The third CAETE was held in Changsha, Hunan, in June 2023, covering 100,000 m² with 120 signed projects worth 10.3 billion USD and featuring over 1,700 exhibitors from Chinese and African enterprises.
In May 2024, the inaugural China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Africa was successfully hosted in Nairobi, Kenya, resulting in 43 signed projects valued at 1.402 billion USD, alongside 34 matched projects and three significant outcomes.
