ORLANDO PIRATES winger Kudakwashe Mahachi yesterday got married to his love. And the lucky lady in question is Rose Tatenda.
According to informants, the footie was excluded from the Zimbabwean National team, which played a Cosafa Cup match against Comoros in Durban, KZN.
This was so he could seal the deal with his missus. A mole said Mahachi tied the knot to his sweetheart at Nesbitt Castle in Hillside, Zimbabwe.
The wedding ceremony was attended by locals and some of his Premier Soccer League teammates and Zimbabwean dignitaries.
Asked for comment, Mahachi couldn’t hide his joy. Said the footie: “My man, I’m happy and thank God for bringing Rose to my life. I also thank him for being with me through difficult times on and off the field. I’m no longer a boy but a man now.”
In December, Mahachi lost his mum.
“I so wish my mum was here to celebrate with us and welcome her daughter-in-law into our family. Now it’s time to be a man and focus on protecting and supporting my wife the best way I can.”
