It is quite common for collectors to spend crazy amounts of money on items from legendary icons.
For example, a slice of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding cake recently sold for approximately R36 236, more than 40 years after the couple tied the knot.
Now the car rapper Tupac Shakur was shot in is on sale, but only if you've got about R24 million to spare.
According to TMZ, the Black BMW 7 series that legendary rapper was shot in is in the market.
The legendary musician was sitting in the passenger seat of the 1996 BMW when he fell victim to a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. The crime remains unsolved.
The bullet holes, which served as a reminder of the car's history, have since been repaired and it's been "restored to its original condition," says the seller, but it still features a small indentation where a bullet might have struck the car, reports Daily Mail.
The hip hop star (25) was struck in the chest, arm and thigh. He died in hospital from his wounds six days later.
The car’s original leaser, notorious record producer Suge Knight, who was driving Tupac back to his accommodation in the evening, is currently in prison.
According to Daily Mail, upon making the purchase, the BMW’s new owner will be provided with documentation proving its history.
