If we’re sure of anything when it comes to Cardi B it’s how much she loves her daughter and her husband, Offset – she’d do anything for him, in fact, she even tattooed his name on her thigh.
Her most recent stunt is the story she relayed in an interview with Angie Martinez of Untold Stories of Hip Hop. In the interview, Cardi B told a story most women can relate to, but the lengths she went to, to impress Offset when they first met and had sex, might be a little too far.
We all know how new love feels, you always want to be in the right with your partner, so you put in a little extra effort just to impress them. When Cardi B was in the talking stages with Offset, she realized she was about to go on her period, desperate not to disappoint him, she found a way to stop it, reports Essence.
“I really wanted to impress him. I spoke to him in three days and I don’t feel like he liked me as much. I’m trying to impress him and everything, then I got my period,” Cardi said.
“Cardi then detailed how she managed to stop her period using gelatine and ibuprofen – PLEASE DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME — so that she wouldn’t leave Offset “dry.”
Gelatine is a translucent, colourless, flavourless food ingredient, derived from collagen taken from animal body parts. Brittle when dry and gummy when moist, it is also called hydrolysed collagen.
She and Offset have a one-year-old daughter, Kulture, and recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
