Pastor Mboro in assassination storm after his church services affect funeral parlour business

Controversial clergyman Pastor Mboro has reportedly approached police to investigate claims of a plot to have him killed

Sunday World is reporting that Gauteng police have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is underway.

“This office can confirm an investigation on all allegations. He (Mboro) is still engaged with the police to obtain more details regarding the threats,” Colonel Lungelo Dlamini told the paper.

Mboro was apparently tipped off about the alleged hit by his former bodyguard and a chief induna (tribal councillor) of Gauteng hostels, Mehloayabuka Ndwandwe.
Apparently the hit on Mboro’s life has allegedly been orchestrated by the owner of a funeral parlour in Katlehong, Johannesburg as he feels the pastor is an “obstruction” to his business

“I’m planning to have a meeting with other indunas and also call the mortuary owner to speak about his evil deeds. We want him to know that we don’t approve of his plan,” said Mehloayabuka.

The former bodyguard said that he received a phone call from an unknown person in May and was offered money to kill Mboro. The bodyguard who refused to be named said he immediately informed Mboro.
Mboro does not seem shaken by the threats

“Nobody is bigger than God. The community is on my side because all I do is help the community,” Mboro told the paper.

Pastor Mboro is no stranger to making headlines and earlier this year landed in hot water after a sick three-year-old child died at his church.

According to several reports the mother of the child took her to Incredible Happenings for prayer.

Mboro claimed at the time that as soon as he saw how sick the child was, he called an ambulance and there was apparently an altercation between paramedics and church members.
