Makhadzi Sparks Suicide Fears After Cryptic Post – Manager speaks on her health

Over the weekend, award-winning performer Makhadzi, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, caused concern among her fans when she posted a distressing message on social media. The post stated, "I am now ending my life for good. RIP to myself. Please don't call me, no one will answer." However, Makhadzi deleted the post shortly after sharing it and remained silent, leaving her fans seriously worried about her well-being.

The fans suspect that Makhadzi may be feeling suicidal and have been sending messages of support, urging her not to give up. Fortunately, Makhadzi's manager, Lucky Tshilimandila, has provided an update, reassuring everyone that the Limpopo singer is doing well, albeit slightly fatigued. According to the management, Makhadzi has been extremely busy throughout the year and simply needs some rest. She is currently taking time off and has been in contact with a medical specialist, prioritizing her mental well-being.

Makhadzi recently released her independent project called Mbofholowo in September and has been in high demand with bookings across the country and the continent. Lucky describes her as a hardworking perfectionist who is committed to not disappointing her fans. However, she is now taking a day or two off to rest and prioritize her mental wellness. They express gratitude for the concerns and messages received and emphasize that Makhadzi appreciates the support. She is well-rested and focusing on self-care.

The issue of suicide among celebrities has been a distressing reality in South Africa. Artists like rapper HHP, Riky Rick, and actor Patrick Shai have been reported to have taken their own lives. HHP, also known as Jabulani "HHP" Tsambo, battled depression for most of his life and had attempted suicide three times before tragically succeeding. Riky Rick, whose real name was Rikhado Makhado, also faced mental health struggles and was reported to have died by suicide at his Johannesburg estate home. Veteran actor Patrick Shai was found dead in the garage of his Soweto home, discovered by his wife in January 2022.
