A video of a man being kidnapped in the Johannesburg Central Business District (CBD) has surfaced on social media.
In the video, shared by katlego Malinga an unknown man who was allegedly driving a white Nissan bakkie can be seen being forced into a VW Jetta by three men.
The incident reportedly took place at Plein and Rissik in the CBD.
The man can be seen trying to fight off the kidnappers, but eventually they were able to force him into the car and drove off.
According to the Crime Air Network Initiative the kidnapped person is now safe, but he was allegedly robbed of cash – as he had an undisclosed amount of money on him to purchase stock for his business.
It is not yet clear when exactly the incident took place.
