FAMOUS polygamist, Musa Mseleku, and his wives are set to record a music video. The production is set to feature all his wives: Busisiwe “MaCele”, Nokukhanya “MaYeni”, Thobile “MaKhumalo” and Mbali “MaNgwabe”.
According to Musa of Mzansi Magic reality TV show, Uthando Nesthembu fame, his wives will finally be seen singing in this music video.
Said Musa: “My single, Izibongo ZikaMseleku, has already been released. But now I want to produce a music video for it. In this music video I’ll include all my wives and they’ll sing along with me.”
The businessman said the single was released in November.
“I’ve already asked each of my wives to promote this song on their social networks,” he said. “The aim of the music video is to leave behind a legacy. This is a historical moment for us, as a family, and I want my children and great-grandchildren to learn from it.”
He said all his wives were great singers in their own right.
Insisted Musa: “That’s why I decided to include them in this music video. The song is already available on iTunes, so people can download it from there. I shall be releasing a full album, but that will be at a later stage.”
He said he would be happy if his song received airplay on national radio stations.
“I’m hungry for a lot of airplay, especially on local and national radio stations,” Musa told the People’s Paper. “I’m hopeful that one day music compilers will listen to this track and include it in their playlists.”
MaNgwabe and Makhumalo’s video clips are already circulating on social media. Said Makhumalo: “When he [Musa] introduced this song, I felt it was a great idea. I know it might sound controversial, but I like the part where he boasts about his wives and where he says, ‘Bhasobha makoti, welanywa (Thread carefully I might take another wife)’.”
