Every time Kelly Khumalo is seen with a new guy, be it a work colleague or just a pal, haters say she is cursed and the dude will die.
Kelly is tired of the hate and after posting images of herself with Chad Da Don, who features in her new music video Dance Comigo, the haters were already in line waiting to spill the bs.
But Kelly, who doesn’t often reply to the comments, posted a video poking fun at the hate.
She first told them to “voetsek” and then said “If you say I am as powerful as I am, how much are you saying about me?”
The video got over 12,000 views in less than an hour. Kelly also commented on those who felt the need to remark on her cellulite.

However, Interviewed by her close friend, Thami Dish on Touch HD last month, Kelly opened up about how trust issues and rejection in relationships are still a problem for her. The radio presenter was able to get the singer to delve into her love life.
Kelly admitted that her fear of rejection is one thing that holds her back from pursuing a new romantic partner.
“I am still struggling with rejection. I cannot deal with rejection. When I’m in a relationship and I don’t know how you feel about me‚ I’m not going to be that girl who tells you upfront how I feel because I am afraid of how you might take it or what if it isn’t reciprocated?” she asked.
“I don’t trust. I need to trust. For me, I struggle with that. I am probably the only person that I trust.”
Speaking about the judgemental society, the mother of two added, “Everybody goes through things but somehow it becomes taboo when Kelly goes through the same things. You are even afraid to say‚ ‘I’m actually single’, because everyone will think‚ ‘Kelly you have it all. You are beautiful‚ you are talented’ and I’m like ‘uh ah’.”
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
Kelly’s trust issues are based on her experiences. It is well-known that the award-winning artist has a son with her former lover and rapper Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye. Things did not end well between them after Kelly claimed he had abused and cheated on her on numerous occasions.
Kelly tried to make the relationship work even after Jub Jub was arrested after a drag racing accident with a friend that claimed the lives of four Soweto pupils. Kelly then moved on to married soccer star, Senzo Meyiwa. Their relationship ended tragically when Senzo was shot dead at Kelly’s mom’s house in Vosloorus in 2016. They have a daughter together. Millions of South African up to this day still believe Kelly really knows who killed Senzo.
