As a comedian, Tumi Morake has learned not to take life too seriously. When Bonang (and her B*Force) humiliated her online, Tumi took the higher-grade road.
And by higher-grade, we mean higher-grade English. One tweet in particular had a few of us reaching for a thesaurus to break down some of the big words from her impressive vocabulary!
In case you missed the story earlier this week, The official WTF Tumi Twitter account (which communicates on behalf of Tumi Morake’s late-night talkshow) followed up on an invite sent to Bonang Matheba.
It was an innocent follow-up, but Queen B* responded by declining the invitation, on the basis that her fans had warned her not to go. It was a little humiliating, to say the least, but Tumi Morake seems to have taken it on the chin and moved on – even though many others felt the need to defend her.
One such person was local entertainment journalist, Phil Mphela, who took to Twitter to slam Bonang for her conceitedness:
Why is Bonang now allowing Twitter fans to dictate to her what talkshows she should be on?
Not smart to snub the very producers who helped build your career because of what fans, who dont even buy your products or watch your shows, say.

And then Tumi Morake responded with the most verbose comeback we’ve seen on Twitter this year:
Dude HOW is this still a conversation though. 🤷🏾♀️ Don’t argue with her stans, it’s a futile excercise that ends in needless denigration and renders your intellect superfluous. Mind you they grossly hyperbolize the few times she’s been mentioned on the show🙄 https://t.co/4p8z5liKMB

We’re just waiting for someone to make a joke about how Bonang’s fans will have to translate Tumi’s wordy tweet into Binglish… or have we gone too far?
Its Binglish😂😂 pic.twitter.com/o0RyhJ4aHQ
