AKA breathes fire over deleted Youtube video: "The music industry is f***ed"

Even though AKA has been hurt and disappointed because some of his music videos were deleted from YouTube, he won’t let it break his spirit.

Taking to Twitter earlier this week the rapper explained how videos from his debut album Altar Ego were taken down, resulting in him losing millions of views.

AKA said the incident had clouded the joy he felt about completing his final album Touch My Blood.

“Tomorrow is the deadline for me to hand in my 3rd and final album. For me it’s bittersweet right now because my videos were removed off YouTube and reloaded yesterday, in the process wiping out millions of views (sic),” he said.

AKA said it was disappointing to see all his hard work and sacrifice derailed, but he knows his legacy lives on in his fans’ hearts.

The rapper claimed that this was an attempt by his enemies to sabotage him, but he won’t let that happen.

“All you need to know is that people are trying to control me and my legacy. They cannot erase me. They will not derail me. They will only make me stronger. The music industry is f***ed exactly because people exploit artists and try and control and contain their talent. You all know exactly who is doing what,” he added.

AKA implied that he knows who is responsible for the sabotage but promised fans that his upcoming album will be released as planned.

“One thing is for sure, come the 15th of June, I know you’ll have my back. Nobody can stop us. I need your support more than ever. So please be patient and keep me in your prayers and thoughts. Every dog has its day…believe that,” he added.
