Last month, DJ Tira publicly went out to explain that he had absolutely no issues with the fact that Cassper Nyovest was doing a concert in Durban.
During a press conference, Tira made it clear that he was in full support of Cassper and his team, and said he wanted the concert to become a great success for all those who were involved.
However, after Cassper Nyovest recently revealed that he now has a R7 million bill he has to pay because he didn't receive the funding he was promised by certain KwaZulu-Natal officials and corporate sponsors, the blame was suddenly shifted to DJ Tira.
Why, you may ask?
Well, it is because of this particular tweet:
An individual on social media said Tira allegedly voiced his concerns about the concert and complained about the amount of money that was funded into making #FillUpMosesMabhida concert a success.
According to Cassper, there was also a rumour that his concert was sponsored with R56 million. The rumour then lead to a lot of complaints from people, and resulted in sponsors pulling out.
The above tweet caused a lot of ruckus in DJ Tira's mentions on Tuesday night as he went under fire for allegedly voicing his concerns about this concert, even though he mentioned that he had no issues towards Cassper or his show.
The backlash against Tira turned ugly and at some point, the argument turned into tribalism.
DJ Tira went on to defend himself:
You think I’m that powerful! I stop people from getting sponsors???? You dont know half the story! Continue blame me ✌️

Although Tira was under attack, his supporters also didn't back down in defending him as well.
It's funny how you guys say that we don't know what happened behind the scenes yet y'all also don't know yet y'all up here trash talking and blaming Tira for an event that wasn't even his
