While Proverb is nursing a broken heart, Onalerona Moreo is celebrating.
in 2015 it was reported that the hip hop heavyweight and businessman’s ex-wife cheated! They had been together for a decade before Proverb (real name Tebogo Thekisho) pulled the plug on their union after learning about her infidelity in the People’s Paper.
However, Celebgossip.co.za has learnt that the former Mrs Verb tied the knot on 22 September at her father’s house in Parktown, North of Johannesburg. It is also rumoured that the Onalerona is expecting a child.
Onalerona Moreo has said ‘I do’ to her businessman lover. According to a Sunday Sun article from a few weeks ago, the couple met at an Anglican Church in Parktown.
Onarelona and Proverb separated in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The former lovebirds have two children together. The couple separated after it was revealed that Onalerona cheated on her husband.
Months after newspapers broke the story, Onalerona had taken to Instagram where she wrote: Divorce feels like death. A loss that only God can restore. Following this social media post, she allegedly told a local gossip online publication: “When the story broke, I was devastated. I knew I was about to lose everything and my life would change. I’d face judgment not only from my families but the entire South Africa.”
This time, she did not only go down the isle with businessman James Mohlaba, she’s also pregnant, insiders claim.
According to insiders, James got divorced late last year. An informant said he met Onalerona earlier this year at Anglican Church in Parktown, Jozi, where her father, Bishop Steven Moreo, is allegedly a senior church leader.
Said the informant: “Onalerona met James at church and they started talking – to a point where they ended up going out. James, who had just divorced his wife, spoke to Onalerona and learned she was also a divorcee. They started dating and James proposed to her.”
Another insider claimed James’ family went to the bishop’s house in Westcliff, north of Jozi, on 1 September.
Claimed the mole at the time: “James’ family came to Westcliff to pay ilobolo for Onalerona. The wedding plans got underway after that. She’s excited that she’ll be getting married again. Hopefully, this time round, she won’t mess up her marriage like she did with her’s to Proverb.”
When reached for comment, Proverb said he can’t comment on the issue. “The only thing I can say is that I wish her all the best,” he said.
Onalerona's wedding comes at a time when Proverb's love life is quite a nightmare. Just last month, Proverb who seem to now have a vast experience in dumping his lover, broke up with his ex lover and former Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie a fortnight ago.
ProVerb (37) and Liesl Laurie’s (27) story was the stuff romantic movies are made of. The Idols SA host was nursing a broken heart after divorcing his wife of 10 years when he found comfort in the arms of the former Miss SA.
So it came as a surprise when the couple wiped all traces of their two-year romance from their social media pages. What had happened, people wondered. Did the power couple split?
“Yes, it’s true but please don’t write this,” the Sunday Sun newspaper quoted Liesl as confirming the break-up.
