A couple of weeks ago, Sbahle Mpisane was involved in a car accident that could have ended her life and since then, her family and friends have been asking the country to pray for her and in a turn of events, the starlet is slowly making progress.
Sbahle, who is Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune's girlfriend, finally started talking after a horror crash on Women’s Day and it seems she may have given some insight about what happened.
Two weeks ago Sbahle finally became responsive and she told the hospital staff that she wanted her father; "I want my dad."
A few days later, there was more good news, according to Tshisa Live, Sbahle had her first meal and the publication is reporting that it was a light meal.
By the way things are looking, we are hopeful that Sbahle will make a full recovery and return to doing things that make her happy.
Before her accident, Sbahle Mpisane opened up about her relationship with a heartfelt message dedicated to her boyfriend, Itumeleng Khune, in the post she said, "No one told me that being with a Gemini would be so addictive, it’s an incredible match! And yes things change because Gemini’s are loco with split personalities, very difficult and so on, but whom can you trust more than another part of yourself right."
However, what is shocking is that Sbahle's father, Sbu, says someone tried to kill Sbahle the morning her car crashed into a tree and overturned on Margaret Mncadi Avenue (formerly Victoria Embankment) in Durban on Thursday 9 August.
The former Metro cop believes her car was pushed off the road by another vehicle. CelebGossip.co.za has learnt that as Sbahle is reportedly now talking and eating, she reportedly revealed to her dad what really happened and that is why the Durban-based businessman now alleges that some deadly man wanted to kill his daughter.
Speaking to Times Select a fortnight ago, Sbu said his daughter knows the man and he was with her the night before she left the club.
Sbahle attended a function on 8 August and was on her way home when the accident occurred the next morning.
Sbu has vowed to track down the man he believes is responsible for “causing” the crash. The businessman claims the man drove off after the accident. He did not reveal where he got the details from.
“I am not a member of the mafia, I have gotten this information and I have taken it to the police, but I am not just going to sit on my hands and do nothing. I am going to find this man,” he told the publication.
While Sbahle is making good steps towards recovering, an eyewitness Brian Dube recently detailed how an unknown woman snatched the fitness star's weave from her head and didn't stop to help.
Brian, who is credited for saving Sbahle's life as he was the first person to help Sbahle drag out of the wreckage, said he still couldn't believe what unfolded before his eyes and labeled it an "inhumane" act. He lives across the road from where Sbahle's car crashed into a tree and was one of the first people to arrive at the scene where he helped put out the fire with an extinguisher. He said when he ran towards the car to help he saw the woman take off with Sbahle's weave.
"When I ran to the car I was right behind her, but when I got there and saw the fire, my main concern was putting out the fire. That's when I realised that the lady was leaving the scene, going the other direction with the weave. She left me there while I was busy with the fire. It was just a lady, who was walking."
