Rapper AKA is setting the record straight after a picture of himself hanging out with another man went viral. The image shows a topless AKA “hugging” a topless man after a show.
Fans were quick to question whether the rapper way gay or bisexual based on the picture.
The image also appeared to show that AKA was wearing only his boxers, but it turned out that his pants were just hanging low and could not be seen in the shot.

While some Twitter users pointed out that “hugging” another man did not make AKA gay, others said they were not shocked.
“What’s going on @akaworldwide, are u now gay?” one tweep wrote.
Another added: “To avoid many things just admit you gay.”
A third wrote: “How true that @akaworldwide is gay or becoming gay? Someone balance me here quickly.”
AKA decided to clear the air. He explained that he simply took off his shirt during his performance at Blue Room
The Congratulate hitmaker also denied he was not wearing any pants.
“So wait… I got naked down to my underwear at Blue Room the other night???… y’all reaching,” he tweeted.
He added in another tweet: “Trust me famo. I’m too famous to take my pants off in a public place and not have someone take a picture of it.”

But some of AKA’s followers kept pestering for an answer, saying he did not deny being gay in his tweet.
“Are you confirming or denying?” one wrote.

Many of AKA’s followers said it did not matter if he were gay or not, as his talent as a rapper speaks for itself.
Here’s a look at what others had to say:
I actually can’t even believe that in 2018 there are people who still think that saying someone is ‘gay’ is an insult pic.twitter.com/dl4rK5P5A9

Back in the day, dying your hair blonde, hugging topless men, throwing tantrums and being a pre Madona would mean @akaworldwide is gay but well it’s 2018 and people can only be gay if they actually say they are gay.

These are the first signs of being GAY!??
1. Girlfriend dumping you.
2. Being caught in public doing gay shit.
3. Admitting- “I’m not bother by being called gay”This is how it starts.
