Media personality Minnie Dlamini-Jones and her husband, Quinton Jones, are celebrating their fourth anniversary in marriage.
Without going into detail, she said marriage was not easy, mentioning that many times before, they had both wanted to quit but their promise kept them together.
On Thursday, she took to social media to celebrate the milestone.
She wrote: “Happy anniversary to us. I can’t believe it’s been four years already. Wow, time flies. Marriage is not easy and there are many times we’ve both wanted to call it quits. But, it’s days like today that remind us of the promise we made to each other. Love you baba ka Netha.
Her friends and colleagues went on to congratulate and applaud her for being honest.
Amanda Sileku said: “Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Jones. Wishing you many more anniversaries. Never give up on this beautiful union – the ups and downs are meant to make you stronger.”
Mercy Mnguni said fights in marriage would always be there.
“Happy anniversary guys. Fights, doubts and temptation will always be there. But, remember that they are not there to break you but to make you stronger,” she said.
Thabisile Zulu said: “I am shocked. Are you thinking of quitting this beautiful union? Please don’t allow problems to separate you.”
