Babes Wodumo hosted her twenty-seventh birthday party at Eyadini Lounge in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on Thursday, 25 March 2021. Although the musician’s actual birthday is in July, it is assumed that her early celebration was arranged because she is rumoured to be pregnant. In a series of images and videos shared by the venue on Instagram, Babes Wodumo appeared to have a baby bump, which she was also seen cradling at various points.
Fans, however, showed some concern on social media, after claiming that the music star is pregnant, and was seen sipping on champagne during her birthday celebrations. So well shaped is little baby bum that her long time bad boy boyfriend, who at one time was barred from dating Babes Wodumo by the singer's father, must be extremely happy that he has finally managed to impregnate the celebrated Qgom musician.
South Africans took mainly to Twitter, expressing their concerns that Wodumo was seen drinking an alcoholic beverage during her birthday celebrations while deducting that the music star is pregnant.
Babes Wodumo was in the number one trending spot on Twitter in South Africa, shortly after the pictures surfaced.
Some fans felt that having a sip was ok, while others disputing that she was pregnant and perhaps just bloated on the day.
