Cassper Nyovest became the butt of people’s jokes after failing to pick up an award at the 2018 BET Awards but one person has his back – Skolopad. The entertainer dedicated one of her songs to the rapper.
Cassper was nominated in the Best International Act category at the show but the award went to Nigeria’s Davido.
The Tito Mboweni hitmaker was left red faced after Twitter users created the hashtags, #CassperNyoempty, and #CassperBETdololo.
Cassper’s fans slammed those celebrating his loss, but tweeps reminded them how they also rejoiced in 2017 when AKA failed to win in the category for the third year in a row. Like Cassper, AKA was given his own hashtag – Akawinanga.
But at least Cassper can take comfort in the fact that he received a special shout-out from Skolopad. She dedicated her song Sthandwa Sam to the rapper and his fans, to cheer them up.
Skolopad shared a clip of herself singing the song, which features the lyrics, “just let it go, because everything is going to be alright as long as we love each other”.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Skolopad says she was just trying to “spread some positive vibes and love”.
The dedication comes just a month after Skolopad revealed that she is single and available with all her flesh flashing fame! But the popular starlet who says she owns a 'sweet punani' said she didn’t want just any man.
She said she was only available to suitors who were already married and who want to poke a sweet punani. Skolopad, whose real name is Nonhlanhla Qwabe, told Daily Sun that she’d been single for some time now.
“I really wouldn’t mind having a man in my life but he should be a married man.”
She said one reason she didn’t want someone who wasn’t married was because she couldn’t bear children anymore.
“I had cervical cancer which means I can’t have kids. That’s why I want someone who is married and already has kids.”
She said all she wanted was to be someone’s official sidechick.
But it seems Cassper needs no comforting at all. He noted on Twitter that “haters are louder on social media” than the thousands of fans who support him.
He is using his loss as a learning experience.
“It’s amazing how confidence can grow from experiences that are suppose to cripple you. There’s so much to learn from not winning if you hav the right attitude. This has been a dope trip & I’m inspired to use more of what I have been given, put more effort & challenge myself,” he tweeted.
