FORMER Generations actor and rapper Psyfo was having a Tiger Woods moment.
But he was dealt a blow when thieves allegedly stole his golf kit before he could show off his skills at the Parkview Golf Course in the suburbs of Jozi. He reported a case of theft at the Parkview Police Station, claiming he had suffered a setback in losing the golf set worth more than R30 000.
According to a statement by the 35-year-old TV star, he put his equipment at a shop nearby as he was paying a few bills, upon his return he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him when he realised his belongings had grown legs. Police spokeswoman Tintswalo Sibeko confirmed that police were still investigating a case of theft.
“I can confirm that a case of theft has been opened and no arrests have been made yet,” she said.
The statement further alleges that the stolen items include a cellphone, which he had recently bought. The Double Cross hitmaker was the talk of social media when he separated with long-time girlfriend and presenter Hulisani “CC” Ravele.
Sunday Sun also has been told the child star-turned-actor was recently nabbed for driving under the influence alcohol in Fairland, north of Jozi.
Police spokesperson Moloko Kgatla confirmed the police were investigating a case of driving under the influence of alcohol.
“At this stage, we are waiting for blood samples before prosecution can take place,” he said Psyfo hadn’t responded to queries at the time of print.
