KAYA FM sports presenter Mbali Makoko’s marital problems are allegedly taking a toll on him. And this is worrying some of his close friends.
Sunday Sun recently ran an article in which Mbali was accused of abusing his ex-wife, Puleng Khesa.
According to his friends, Mbali currently suffers from depression.
“Things aren’t looking good for him. Puleng is using their child to fight with him and that’s why he’s gone for counselling. Mbali’s been trying hard to protect his family by not speaking out about their marital problems. He left his home in Diepkloof, Soweto, with the wife for peace sake. Things aren’t really good for him at this stage,” said one source.
Another source said the matter between Mbali and Puleng was now in court.
“It’s painful to see what Mbali’s going through. Puleng wants to see Mbali down and out by all means. She’s even gone to his workplace to bad-mouth him. That’s how bad Puleng wants to paint Mbali,” claimed the second source.
Mbali refused to comment, arguing that the matter is before court. His wife Puleng was not available for comment.
