Aqua Air says Mpisane, Makaringe embody health and fitness and inspire many young people
Fitness bunny Sbahle Mpisane has bounced back to the showbiz industry with a loud bang.
Mpisane, who has been out of the showbiz industry for almost two years after a horrific car accident that left her in an intensive care unit for several months, has been appointed brand ambassador of the premium bottled water company, Aqua Air Africa, together with Orlando Pirates player Fortune Makaringe.
This was announced by Aqua CEO Keamogetswe Matsho in a statement on Friday.
“We are delighted to have Sbahle and Fortune on board as the faces of Aqua Air. It’s fulfilling and exciting to see Sbahle back on her feet, she inspires a lot of young women who want to lead a healthy lifestyle through taking care of their bodies.
“Through her, we saw the rise of young fitness fanatics in recent years, which is what the brand stands for,” said Matsho.
Matsho said Makaringe was appointed the face of their brand because of his amazing talent and versatility.
“At 26 years, Fortune has made his mark in the soccer industry and continues to inspire and bring hope to young upcoming soccer players. Both Sbahle and Fortune embody what we as Aqua Air primarily stand for: health and fitness. Today marks the beginning of a great journey ahead with our new ambassadors and we have a lot in store for the public, during and after the lockdown”, she said.
Mpisane said she was excited about her appointment.
