South Africa’s two biggest hip-hop stars really do not like each other. Rather than saying “hate is a strong word”, we really feel like it doesn’t cover the intense disdain AKA and Cassper Nyovest have for one another. In fact, this beef could be heading for a boxing ring.
Doesn’t matter what he says … sign the contract. Let’s fight. https://t.co/IfH32TiKDH

AKA VS CASSPER NYOVEST: IN THE BOXING RING
Things have been bubbling under for a while. Back in December, Cassper had suggested the pair don the gloves and punch out their differences – with proceeds from ticket sales going to charity. On Thursday, it was AKA’s turn to apply the pressure: But there was no respectful discourse to be seen, and the “Supa Mega” immediately went for the insults.
From using homophobic slurs to dragging Nyovest’s parents, AKA wasn’t afraid to get personal. His Twitter feed is now littered with the remnants of a foul-mouthed tirade. If the punches are as ferocious as the put-downs, we’ve got one hell of a fight ahead of us:
– “Tell Cassper his father is a deadbeat dad for allowing him to drop out of high school. And his mother is just as bad for allowing it.”
– “F**k his mother and his father… Cassper, stop being a moffie and sign the papers.”
– “I’ll say it again. His Ma se P**S.”
– “I’m going to obliterate his face… The day of the fight I will lay him on his back and spit in his face.”
– “His entire family can suck my d**k.”
SA HIP-HOP STARS SET FOR BOXING CLASH
AKA – real name Kiernan Forbes – expressed his frustration with his industry rival, slamming him for allegedly stalling on the signing of the contract. The rapper claims both men can make R8 million from this bout, and the only reason it’s delayed is due to Nyovest’s indecision:
“Everything is set. We both stand to make between R5 million to R8 million each… only catch is he’s taking his time to sign. We in the process of a deal with EFC and Supersport for a bout in September. that’s why he been baiting me on socials. It’s AKA vs Pony Boy. 10 rounds, winner takes all.
“I have hurt him before. I will hurt him again. This time, on SuperSport. While my vodka ad plays between rounds. Now is the time for him to sign the papers and you can all watch me f**k him up in front of his family,” AKA said.
CASSPER RESPONDS TO AKA BEEF
Let’s get ready to rumble, ladies and gentlemen. Although, it must be said, Cassper Nyovest had a much more measured response:
Kids, don't do drugs. Stay humble, keep a strong will, a strong mind and stay fly. pic.twitter.com/UC221C3bdh
