The cat is finally out of the bag, motherhood is beckoning for popular actress Zola Nombona, who has announced that she's expecting a baby. The actress ushered into the love month in style, debuting her baby bump on Instagram.
In a long and poetic sweet post, Zola could not contain her excitement about her pregnancy. She praised the arrival of her unborn child and spoke about how deeply she loves her baby.
Known for her role as Shado in SABC1’s Intersexions, SA Film and Television Award (Safta) winner Zola Nombona was also nominated in 2018 for her role as Roxanne in the third and final season of e.tv crime drama Z’bondiwe. Roxanne came into the show innocent and fresh-faced, but viewers soon learnt that she had many secrets.
Nombona was competing on M-Net’s Dancing with the Stars, and told a local publication that she was surprised and happy to find out she was nominated for the award.
“It’s just such a good way to round off season three of Z’bondiwe and it was just an all-round pleasure working on the show,” she told #Trending.
Nombona is also proud of the women who appeared on the show, telling e.tv in an interview in 2017: “Z’bondiwe possesses a pack of strong women. They go through intense adversities surrounded by all forms of violence and danger. I look up to them. I think a lot of women can identify with them and, in turn, can learn a lot from them.”
Nombona has also starred in some of the country’s best productions, including Lockdown, iNumber Number (the series) and Mzansi Magic film Ingoma, for which she won the Safta for best achievement by a lead actress in a made for TV movie.

The beautiful actress is expecting her first child and she is beaming with pride already. Zola was rumoured to be dating Lockdown producer Mandla N last year. This was after she sent a birthday shout out to producer and actor which raised a couple of eyebrows, speculating that the pair might actually be in a relationship.
The star has not revealed the gender of the baby nor the baby daddy.
Congratulations messages swarmed her timeline. With no doubt, she is going to be an incredible mom. Zola is not the first actress to announce her pregnancy this year Mpoomy Ledwaba recently revealed that she is expecting her second baby with Brendon.
Zola Nombona is a force to be reckoned in the television industry, since her debut on tv she has turned into a bonafide start and has bagged several roles to become a household name, She continues to make great strides n the industry and we are here for it.
