Radio personality Anele Mdoda was recently crowned Best Radio Personality by the Best of Johannesburg awards for the consecutive year in row.
The 35-year-old Mdoda shared the news on her Twitter account and she expressed how happy and thankful she is to her followers.
“6 radio awards in one week. Two for my station @947, two for my team @947BClub and two for me for best radio personality we don’t take the love for granted. Enkosi and good morning,” she tweeted.
She also posted the moment on her Instagram account and expressed how honoured she was to receive the award for the second time.
“Two years in a row!…” she wrote in the caption.
The television personality was showered with congratulatory messages from her fans including fellow celebrities, singer Unathi and Dj Black Coffee.

Her breakfast show -The 947 Breakfast Club- on the Johannesburg based station 947 also won Best Radio Show, in 2017, 947 won Best Station in the Johannesburg consumers’ choice awards in a clean sweep.
Anele needs no introduction, she is a household name. Her passion for the craft is crystal clear to the people of Mzansi on television and radio.
In 2017, the South African Film and Television Awards ( Saftas) best talk-show host winner Anele, said she always strives for excellence and often berates herself when she fails to meet her set standard.
“When I start something, I do try to be as flawless as possible and I truly berate myself when I dare make a mistake.
“I’m just extremely hard on myself,” Mdoda said at that time, chronicling how she manages to keep the people of South Africa entertained, on her SABC 3 show, Real Talk, and her breakfast show on Highveld Stereo.
