Where are they now? Former reality stars Ntando and Hlelo Masina
They were famous and loved by many, former YFM presenters Ntando and Hlelo Masina were darlings on TV, to the extent that many listeners were left wondering where could they have been after they disappeared from the public radar.
The twins know very well how people missed them, as they pondered what could have happened to the duo.
The ex-reality show stars admit how most of their fans ask them where they had been or what they could be doing when they bump into them together in public.
The pair have just resurfaced, and they recently revealed on their YouTube channel that it has been their personal adventures.
"For me it was just about self-reflection. What is my personal brand, that's what I've been working on," said Hlelo.
On the other hand, Ntando believes when one doesn’t have anything to say, it is golden to remain silent, therefore she had not been active on social media simply because she had nothing to share.
"I had nothing to say. When I have nothing to say I just don't say anything. That's the long and short of it," she explained.
Hlelo went on to say that she was going through a self transition and therefore preferred some silence too.
"I didn't want to hear other people's comments and voices. I needed to hear my own. It was shutting everybody up," she explained.
Following the non renewal for a third season of their reality show Blame it on Fame by e.tv, the twins withdrew from the public eye, and went underground.
Their resurfacing has since given their fans some sigh of relief, as they now know what their loved stars had been up to.
Nine years ago, the twins started an initiative, aimed at empowering young girls to become active participants of the society. The initiative was called ‘Campaign For Girls.’
