It was an emotional moment, a sorrowful, but pleasant weekend for former ‘Our Perfect Wedding' presenter Kayise Ngqula who celebrated her son’s first birthday without her husband.
For the son, it was a case of 'a prince' celebrating his first birthday without ‘the king' his father.

Kayise’s husband Farai Sibanda died in a tragic car crash, three months ago.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Kayise posted a heartfelt message, which offered her fans a window to look into the agony she is feeling.

“I have wept and wept, picked myself up only to fall and try again. It’s an everyday effort but today is particularly the hardest. I don’t know how I’m meant to deal with all these emotions in one body and soul. I just don’t know!!
“But if there is anything to say, it is to say thank you!! Lord I’m so grateful for this child, I see your glory in him every day! Thank you for gifting me with a love so great that I get reminded of it every time I look at him.
“Happy happy birthday Zuko kaMama, Tin Tin kaDaddy. He held you first even before I did on this day. Knowing him like I do, everybody up in heaven is rejoicing in full knowledge that his king was born today,” she wrote.
Kayise also posted a thread of photographs from her little son’s birthday commemorations.
“My heart is flowing gratitude for it all! Everything it took to get to this point. I have an amazing God who certainly does things his way. We celebrated Zuko’s 1st birthday in the most overwhelmingly beautiful way,” she captioned her Instagram post.
