Brand champion Tshepi Vundla has come out to the open that she was in an abusive
relationship with her ex-boyfriend, popular chef Tebello Motsoane.
After a long time, Tshepi eventually broke her silence and exposed her ex-bae who allegedly
physically assaulted her.
This revelation came after Twitter user Sfiso Mthethwa confessed to being a coward by failing
to restrain his friend who abused his now-ex-girlfriend, he did not reveal the names.
“This week I called the now ex-girlfriend because WOW I was struggling with that guilt. I told
her I'm sorry I kept quiet when I could have said something all those years ago. She really could
have been killed because of our cowardly behaviour,” he tweeted.

After 27-year-old Tshepi revealed Tibz’s name, her followers praised her for the courage, to
finally name and shame her abuser.

But, to his own defence, Tibz denied ever physically abusing the stylist but admitted to
emotionally and mentally abusing her.
He also alleged that in fact, Tshepi was the one who used to hit him instead.
For years I was in a toxic and public relationship with Tshepi Vundla. In this relationship, I know realize that I was abusive… but never ever physically. Through my disrespect, I hurt her many times and that is emotional and mental abuse.

wrote in a thread.
Because of the climate in the country, I didn’t want to do this and whether or not it makes me look weak, I’m ready to state that Tshepi Vundla used to physically abuse me. I’ve been slapped, scratched, pushed, sworn at and had my mother sworn at. Never have I retaliated.

He added that he had been silent about being abused by Tshepi, as he feared doing so would
present him as a weak guy.

He added that the incidents has happened inside Cocoon, outside Taboo, at her mother’s house
and in the parking lot at The Sands.
“Witnesses have been my friends, her friends, her mother, her sister, her brother in-law,
promoters, bouncers and strangers. Never have I hit her,” he claimed.
Tibz added that to his knowledge, Tshepi has never said that he hit her, but his worry is that she
never corrected those who believe he did.
“I have lost friends, income and respect… but I carried on with life.
“I am being honest about what I now know to be psychological abuse, however she was my
physical abuser,” he added.
He went on to suggest that if things like polygraph/ lie-detector tests are anything to go by, he
would be happy to take one. So that he clears his name.
“We all have our truth, this is mine,” he added.

I do not know if things like polygraph/lie-detector tests are even a real thing… but I will gladly take one. We all have our truth, this is mine.
