I fear for my life – Mlindo cancels trip and show, He Is scared to go to Zimbabwe

Musician Lindokuhle Mgedezi, best known by his stage name Mlindo The Vocalist has decided against going to Zimbabwe for his performance this weekend.

In light of the current xenophobic attacks in South Africa against foreign nationals, the muso made it clear in a social media post that he fears for his life in another African country.

“I’m supposed to travel to Zimbabwe ???? this weekend, but I fear for My life since I’m South African. My country is doing so much harm to our brothers and sisters I have no choice but to wonder what lies in another African country as an AFRICAN!!!???,” he tweeted.

He took that tweet to his Instagram page to confirm that he won’t be setting foot in the country, fearing the worst that might happen to him.

“So I’m not going,” he confirmed.
