Babes Wodumo has she ridiculed Lady Zamar in a video that has gone viral?

The Wololo hitmaker came under fire after footage allegedly showed her mocking Lady Zamar’s appearance.

Babes is not seen in the video, but Twitter users claimed it was her in the background.

The voice mocks Lady Zamar about her acne, while zooming in on her face in the recording.

The footage was recorded during an episode of Idols SA.

Lady Zamar appeared in a July episode of the singing competition as a guest judge during the Johannesburg auditions.

Not only did the woman in the video make fun of her acne but she also called the singer a “sfebe”, which is the Zulu word for b***h.

Babes Wodumo was trending on Twitter on Wednesday with many users slamming the video.

“Babes Wodumo is out there making fun of Lady Zamar proving that “A woman’s greatest enemy is a woman,” one tweep wrote.

Another user was appalled that Lady Zamar’s looks were being criticised.

Some questioned who posted the video in the first place, saying Babes needs to watch the company she keeps, or her career will soon be over.

“The biggest problem with her = her so called friends. Pity she doesn’t realise that #BabesWodumo,” one tweep wrote.

Another added: “Babes Wodumo needs a PR manager. Preferably one that isn’t her boyfriend, friend or relative.”
YouTube sensation Lasizwe also weighed-in on the drama

“I personally think Babes needs to give Lady Zamar a call and sincerely apologize #BabesWodumo,” he tweeted.

Many tweeps also came to Lady Zamar’s defence.

“Dear @Lady_Zamar ‘You are a citizen & a resident in my heart’… You are loved unconditionally. Continue spreading love through your soulful music, & use your talent the best way you know how… I will not waste my breath about #BabesWodumo.”

But Babes has denied the woman in the video is her

She says her account was hacked.

“I woke up to calls telling me I was trending on Twitter and had no idea about the video. This person who hacked my account is asking for money. It was not me,” babes told TshisaLIVE.

Babes also shared a video on her Instagram page to tell her followers that someone was using her Twitter account.

It’s not the first time Lady Zamar has been mocked about her acne

She made headlines last month after after Prince Kaybee shared a picture of one of their studio sessions.

Her acne was visible in the black and white image.

Lady Zamar shared a lengthy Twitter thread slamming the cyberbullies who made jokes about her acne.
