Many of us have seen the faces of celebs on our screens and wondered just how much they were paid to appear there. We took a look at who the top four acting celebrities are and just how much they are worth.
South African entertainers are just as good (if perhaps not somewhat better) as the talent that can be found in the rest of the world, and get paid well for their hard work. We often wonder what these celebs – and in particular actors and actresses – earn and how much they are worth.
Here's our list, starting at least-paid (in this context) to most-paid.
Mzansi's Mama Panther has been doing the things. Seriously, not only is she the host of a very popular show where she interviews the biggest local stars, she's also working on a Netflix first. Pearl's nett worth is believed to be around $2 million – about R28 248 000, give or take a few cents.
3. Moshidi Motshegwa
Who hasn't seen Moshidi somewhere on their screens in the past few years? That's right, no one. This lady has been in the industry for more than 20 years and her acting is superb.
The SAFTA award winner has been part of almost every popular movie, soap and drama in Mzansi and her hard work and dedication shows – she's apparently worth $8 million. That's a cool R112 986 000.
3. Jamie Bartlett
4. Sello Maake Ka-Ncube
ello is a true living legend on the Mzansi acting scene. There isn't a role that this man hasn't absolutely nailed. He's been on stage and behind cameras for what feels like forever and is one of the country's most-loved actors. On top of that, Sello is a director and producer as well as voice-over artist. There's just no end to his talent. With that said, is it really any surprise that Sello is worth about $13 million? That's around R183 534 000, depending on the Rand's value. Yup, almost R190 million. These actors and actresses are what many aspiring entertainers hope to be one day, and it's easy to see why – they are successful and talented. Not to mention very rich.
