The South African Daily Show host at the US, Trevor Noah has congratulated rapper Sho Madjozi for bagging Bet awards nomination.
The comedian tweeted that Sho Madjozi real name Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif deserved to be nominated for awards.
The host of American satirical news program wrote, "Congratulations to Sho Madjozi in your well deserved BET Awards #BestIntenationalAct," he said.

Madjozi is not the only South African nominee this year with AKA also nominated on Best International Act.
The prestigious global awards will be hosted on Sunday 23 June at 8pm (Monday 24 June 2am South African time the show will simulcast for the first time on BET Africa (DStv channel 129).
The live ceremony will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The Huku hitmaker who is also known for rapping in Xitsonga has been nominated alongside Teniola Apata from Nigeria, Headie One and Octavian from the UK and France’s Jokair and Nesly.
Last year, Sjava famously received his Best New International Act award at the live red carpet showing traditional Zulu regalia receiving.
Black Coffee was the first South African musician to win the BET award in 2016 walking away with Best International Act.
