ACTRESS Zenande Mfenyana is recovering at home after being hospitalised last week.
The star, who plays Goodness in Mzansi Magic hit soapie The Queen, was later discharged after spending a couple of days under the doctors’ watch. Her apparent hospitalisation is said to have led to the cancellation of some gigs, which means she lost out on some moolah.
Insisted the first mole: “She had bookings but unfortunately had to cancel them because she had to go to hospital. She’s even taken some time off from shooting the soapie but plans to return to work when she’s fully recovered.”
The actress is said to be recovering with the help of close friends.
“She’s taking things easy while she recovers and is doing well under the circumstances. She’ll be back to her bubbly self in no time as she’s a fighter,” said another source.
“Being admitted to hospital was unexpected but she had all the support she needed. She didn’t expect this to happen, but is happy she has genuine people who support her through thick and thin,” said the third source.
When the SunTeam called her for comment, the actress said her hospitalisation was “personal”.
“It’s personal and I don’t want to share any information about that. I’m doing perfectly fine and very happy,” she said.
