South Africa's own Trevor Noah keeps ruffling feathers over there in America. The Daily Show host is now upsetting the US over his comments on the issues of reparations and white privilege.
During the show's much loved Between The Scenes segment, an audience members asked Trevor for his opinion on what government is doing with regards to reparations and white privilege in America. As usual, Trevor gave a fair, valid and fact based opinion on a sensitive racial matter
"So, reparations means you are repairing something you broke – paying for something that you are supposed to pay for. I am not saying that there aren't people living in America today that aren't suffering and are going through pain and strife because what is happening when it comes to machines taking jobs… It is hard to accept that you have benefits because of the colour of your skin if you cannot see the benefits that you have," explained Trevor.

Trevor went on to say that as far as he's concerned, reparations was owed more to black people than any other races. Which is obvious to anyone who knows anything about the history of Africans and the African diaspora. He explained that slavery and other limitations black people have endured deserve priority over recent issues that may affect the white minority like industrialization.
A large number of the American people are reportedly not pleased with hearing a fact-based opinion on a social issue. But people all over social media appreciated the way Trevor handled the sensitive topic.
It's that type of clarity and honesty from Trevor that politicians lack. I agree with what he said 100 percent.👍🏿
