Musa Mseleku, who is arguably South Africa's most famous polygamist, has had to clear the air after hearing his name in the rumour mill. It's been widely suggested that two of Musa's 5 wives have left the reality TV star.
Musa and his wives have become nationally famous after starring in Mzansi Magic's uThando Nes'thembu. On the show we have come to learn how Musa spends time with each of the women he is married to and how they all operate as a family.
However, it appeared as if trouble was in paradise this week when KZN publication, Isolezwe, alleged that two of Musa's wives had moved out of the family household. They claim that Yvonne and Mbali had departed following an altercation with another wife, Thobile. It is claimed that the fight arose after Thobile hired an anonymous stranger to sleep with Musa – all because she could not bare children.
Musa was angered by the reports and has made swift moves to correct the narrative, speaking to Daily Sun and The Juice.
He first took a moment to deny every single rumour, stating that none of his wives had left him:
"They (reports) are just are making fools of everyone, all my wives are happy and are all with me,”
He also took a moment to seriously address the person who had spread the rumours of his wife hiring a woman to sleep with him:
“It is sad there is a person who goes around making fun of her. That person is making fun of every woman who can’t bear children,”
He did end off by revealing that we can expect a new season of their now famous reality show as soon as April 2019:
“A new season is coming pretty soon, probably sometime next month.”
Do you think anything will be as dramatic as this episode of the Uthando Nesthembu from last season?
