A warrant of arrest has been issued for the pathologist who was due to testify in the court case of rapper Thulani “Pitch Black Afro” Ngcobo.
This after the pathologist was subpoenaed to come to court today and failed to do so for the second time.
Pitch Black is charged with the murder of his wife Catherine Modisane at a Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Yeoville, Johannesburg on New Year’s Eve.
He also faces a charge of defeating the ends of justice.
The rapper allegedly hid evidence related to the bloody towels found at the scene of the murder from the police.
The rapper has already spent almost three months behind bars with his bail application continuously postponed.
The unimpressed Margistrate Piet Du Plesis said he was pleased with how the case is folding out.
He refused to accept a letter that was sent by the pathologist and said he wanted to see him in person.
The case has been postponed to the 20th of March.
