MUSICIANS, Nandi Mngoma and Zakes Bantwini, real name Zakhele Madida, are expecting their second baby together. The couple made the announcement recently.
The lovebirds kept their wedding and first pregnancy under wraps, unlike the second pregnancy where they shared the news following constant media rumours and speculations.
SPILLING THE BEANS
The couple finally revealed that they are two months away from welcoming an additional member to their family.
The yummy mommy did a good job hiding the bump with her loose stylish outfits and calculated poses, but the couple could not keep the news to themselves anymore. They finally confirmed the news, and not just in any way, the musos made a legendary reveal by gracing the cover of a monthly magazine. The couple could not hold back on sharing the news with fans, they also took to their social media accounts and expressed how excited they are about the historical moment.
The 30-year-old mother shared, “It’s fitting as this year not only will we be bringing new life on this earth, in less than two months, but also bringing new life to some incredible projects as well. There’s so much to celebrate in 2019. I’m looking forward to traveling around the world with my clan and do it with my best friend.”
NOTHING COMES BETWEEN THEM
The 37-year-old Zakes has three kids from previous relationships – his fourth child is his first born with Nandi, and he often expresses gratitude to his wife for loving his other kids as her own. The lovely couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family in 2016.
In a radio interview last year, Nandi shared that she didn’t see herself as a marriage kind of a girl, but said that changed when she met the musician. The couple was shocked when one Twitter user claimed that Zakes was cheating on Nandi earlier last year.
The woman who claimed to know everything about the influential couple claimed that Zakes had been seeing his mistress since 2013 and said he was even paying for her apartment.
Both Zakes and Nandi didn’t entertain the woman, and Nandi later dismissed the rumours in a radio interview with Metro FM.
“Make sure your relationship is between you and the person you love. No one has power over it, no one has a say over it. People will always talk, people will try and break something that’s beautiful, there’s nothing you can do,” she said.
